Post-Cholecystectomy Syndrome

My diagnosis, say that 5 times real fast! I don't know how to pronounce it to say correctly 1 time! It means I had my gallbladder removed and bile is hanging out in my colon.

While the info is not colitis, I know some of you have been following me to see how this turns out. Maybe it will help someone else, who knows.

And possibly I am not absorbing fat (fat malabsorption), according to my stool sample test, but he said if the sample set for awhile in the lab, that result may not be accurate. He said we could investigate it further, do another stool sample, I'm not ready to do that again. I found putting my poo in little bottles very disturbing!

I can opt for surgery to fix my hiatal hernia, not really wanting any more hospital anything right now.

I'm doing okay right now, but he told me symptoms to watch for regarding all of the above.

I told him I was never ever doing another colonoscopy, he said he did not hear me say that. I would rather be shot right now than do another scope! Not killed, just shot. Take a pinky finger or toe.

I'm going to try Metamucil instead of the med they can prescribe. He was fine with me trying metamucile and probiotics. I'm going to do Greek yogurt for now.
I will google the Carafate, check that out.
