You are gonna be fine, kit kat!!! I support you all the way and think this has to be done for you to be healthy again. Everyone's disease moves at different speeds and responds to meds/diets so individually. We all got dealt really crappy colons and yours just really likes making your life suck all the time. I think your surgeon should save it for you and when i come see you, we can set it on fire!!!!! Muahahahahahahahaha

As a bonus: we can roast marshmallows on the colon fire. Ive heard they are good for slowin down output so you can change your bag!

And as for freezing meals... my dad is getting us a small chest freezer and the cooking starts next weekend :D lol

Gotta freeze some nutriously sound meals or I have no idea what the hell my husband will be eating, lol. Total garbage im sure.

I am so happy for you. You have such a positive attitude, but it's so hard to hear about what a rough time you were having. Relief is coming. Good luck with a happy, successful recovery.

@Katie - Best of luck. Chances are, you will feel much better after surgery and be glad you did it, but because I'm not a psychic and can't read the future, I'm not going to make any promises. For now I think you are probably doing the right thing and support your decision, but I for one can't wait until the day this crappy chopping out of colons is no longer necessary.
