Seriously, though, anybody want a husband and son? I would SO move if I could figure out how to transport my insurance policy. Maybe I can turn this into incentive to get my surgeries over with so I can GTFO.

What are they saying to you? How are they jerks?

DS is 17, acting 3. He grunts and says no a lot. He seriously will say, "no" every 15 seconds from the time I ask him to do something until he gets it done. He also has no problem cursing at me. DH just makes everything into an argument. I hate needing to speak with him about routine household things.

I'm sorry to say so.... But if they fell how much you dislike them it is a pretty good reason not to be nice to you. Your situation might only be only snowballing... They think... you think... And so on...

Have you try sitting with them and saying how you really fell ? Not telling them what you fell is wrong with them but how you fell. Stuff, like telling your son how sick you fell and how his help around the house would help you out.

I most admit that at 17 good teens are not easy...

Teenagers and husbands (almost one in the same lol) can be tough cuz from my experience, both the teenage brain and male brain are messed up hahaha...Chantrelle99 makes a good point though...it might be a good idea to sit down and talk to them about how they make you feel, you might be surprised that they don't feel very good either (emotionally) our illness isn't just hard on us, it's hard on everyone close to us as well and we often forget it's not just our disease affecting us, it affects our loved ones and friends as well, not on the physical level but definitely on the emotional level...many times my husband has told me he misses me, meaning the healthy me from when we used to just wake up in the morning, shower, get ready and go about our day...since CD life has been nothing like that and we both miss it and both get frustrated with it. I think that's why he wants me to get an ostomy, he doesn't care how it'll look on my physical body, he just wants us to be able to go do things before noon together like in the old days. I don't blame him but I do often forget that it affects him too.

@Geeker, I feel bad for you! I'm certainly not an expert on child rearing, but I have always thought that one of the fundamentally important aspects of parenting is to make sure your both on the same page, no wonder you feel bad...if I had to *****, I would say I resent how my husband gives in to my daughter, she's spoilt, and knows the price, but not the value of anything..its disappointing to me, but shes 25 now and way past changing!

If I could go back in time, I honestly wouldn't have had kids...obviously I love them, but I'd never do it again no way in hell. Society is so different from when I grew up, there's absolutely no respect or appreciation (especially from my daughter) and she's a mom now herself...lol I can't wait to see what her daughter puts her through, maybe that will make up for some of the crap she put us through for many yrs.

Motherhood....hardest....job.....ever.
