Sodium butytrate found to reactivate herpies 1 virus. Just wondering, if you suffer from cold sores and have noticed anything? This has made me cautious of starting

butryate can reactivate viruses, Ive posted on this here.. Ive never actually seen it happen but there was some speculation that it could have happened in kill colitis's daughter's case reactivating epstein barr.. this was all patched together in hindsight. Ive seen many people use butyrate at this point for a myriad of disease process and nobody has seemed to notice any increase in viral symptoms. My biggest complaint I get from people about butyrate is that it bulks the stool too much and can be hard to pass when you are bleeding or have already alot of inflammation. in that case I then rec people switch to a butyrate suppository.

Its all viruses.. not just HSV. Its a HDAI so that is the mechanism. but whatever....

you do need to be taking atleast 3g a day or it's pretty worthless, fyi.
