FMT - Fecal Microbiotal Transplant

Has anyone in this forum tried this to achieve remission? I am seriously considering it especially after reading all the success stories on thepowerofpoop com website. I have mixed feelings, just wondering what others think about it.


I am currently off all prescription drugs.
I take Vitamin D Vitamin B omega 3 calcium and i drink coco hydro powder mixed with water every morning along with Ambrotos by Mannatech. And I take Tumeric for the inflammation. I was taking prednison as needed for flares until I was diagnosed with osteopenia so that's no longer an option. It was my go to drug a 4 week taper would keep me in remission for over a year.. But it was doing damage to my bones that I never knew about until I broke my heel in 2012.

Thank you Guardian 7. I am literally sitting on the toilet for the 5th time today but butt is raw and sore from having to go diarrhea again. I thank God the bathroom is only 20 feet from my desk at work and I've still had accidents inside the bathroom and went on the floor as I struggled to get my butt on the toilet seat. I HATE living this way, I've lost so much weight and my energy level fluctuates so much I never know from 1 hour to the next what I am going to be able to do so I never get my hopes up about doing anything. I've even resorted to smoking MJ just to keep the spasams under control but I can only do that on the weekends because the fogginess is too much for me to work effectively.

I'm scared of biologics and I just want to be be well again without destroying my immune system or having my colon removed. I think I'm gonna give it a try at this point I have nothing to lose.
