So...months with manageable symptoms, not trouble with food. Not normal but not life intrusive symptoms. So I get a promotion...have to travel in the car with my bosses for a big meeting hours away. Way there, no troubles. On the way home....omg...I suddenly have to go so bad and my stomach hurts so bad I can't focus on whats being said...I had to ask them to pull over...and lo and behold its this ancient gas station with an outside bathroom in which I spend like 15 minutes before I can even think of returning to the car. Could be worse I realize. Far worse. It just felt the cosmos had the biggest joke on behalf...here..lets get her comfortable then bam...surprise her with the big bosses hanging around.

Keeps us on our toes ehh....just had to vent with people who can commiserate...

Everybody poops, even big wig important boss types. I'd just blow it off, crack a joke about it being something you ate and move on.

At least you made it to the bathroom and didn't have an accident in your boss's car! In my UC days I wouldn't have been so lucky. When that urge came it came right there and then....all of it!

Wow, nothing like a little scary excitement added to a trip. Do they know you have UC?

Good to hear you were able to get to a toilet, even if it was an outhouse. I shudder to think if there was no toilet paper in there....

Oh god, I never even considered a lack of toilet paper lol! I am so dang lucky I guess....learned to not be so complacent too haha!

One of them knows, though I'm not sure she knows what it is.

I had a friend that doesn't have UC mess her pants. I walked into the work bathroom, and it smelled horrific. I never use that bathroom. She said, could you please go out and call Carol and ask her to come in here. I said, "It is me!" I ran home, got her a new pair of everything and came back. She was embarrassed but I told her she picked the right person because...been there done that!! :-) No embarrassment...it happens!
