The doctor on the show said, poor sleep cause hormone imbalance. Hormone imbalance is the key for chronic diseases. He said if there is a genetic possibility for a chronic disesase then it will slowly activate if you constantly sleep at late night.

I just wanted to see how sleep influences in triggering UC. It looks like more than 50% of people had poor sleep pre UC. I cannot reverse my UC but I wanted to do my best to prevent my children getting it.
