I hate Accredo!

Complain to your insurance carrier. They're the one that contracts with the pharmacy, and they're the one who might have some clout with them. People are amazed that I don't use the mail-order pharmacy with the lower co-pays, but I've heard too many stories just like this one. Unfortunately, sometimes fighting to get our health needs met turns into a full-time second job for us.

This is why when my insurance always kept on trying to get me to do mail order I turned them down. Fortunately, I had a choice and didn't want anything to do with mail order.

Me too! Hate them, hate them, HATE them! I swear, dealing with Accredo has pushed me into surgery. I used to use Curascript- awesome, no trouble ever. Then Accredo bought them out- apparently they bought out a few specialty pharms, & got WAY too many accounts to handle. First, trouble with a prior auth- despite the fact that I had a current one on file, they just could not see it- did not send me my med for 2 months. My insurer authorized a one time fill at a local CVS. Then, my med was delayed for no apparent reason- placed an order, got a delivery date, that was that. Date came, no med... no phone call, nothing. They had no idea why no one notified me when I called to inquire. When I finally got the med, my card wasn't charged- despite the fact that I'm on auto-pay,. I had to call 3 more times to actually pay for it. And- I've been trying to get a Sharps container for about 2 months now- it's a game at this point- I've requested one 6 times now.. nothing. And each time, they assure me it's on it's way. Their customer serv. reps are so stupid, so unbelievably dumb... I hate them with all my heart! I'm seriously not joking when I say that dealing with them just pushed me right over the bring, to surgery. No way could I count on them to send me my meds monthly. Thankfully my insurer (Tufts) agrees with me & has had nothing but problems since Accredo took over Curascript- the insurance company was so helpful in getting me my Humira. Accredo can blow me, they suck so bad! I totally feel your pain! PS- gary, it's not mail-order, it's specialty pharmacy- for Humira, biologics, etc. You have to get those thru a particular pharm, no other option. For me, at least- my usual mail-order pharm is Caremark, & they're fine!

I can't even begin to list all the problems.
In the beginning, they would call me to refill it. I would go ahead and order then they would call me the day of delivery to tell me they couldn't fill it and push it out a couple days...then call me again and tell me it's too soon....THEN STOP CALLING ME TO REFILL.

Once I got another automated call that they couldn't refill it. I talk to the customer service rep who tells me it's because I don't have a phone number on file um... YOU JUST CALLED ME!!!!

Now the issue I have been dealing with since January is that I have Express scripts for my regular meds. (Lialda and my birth control). Accredo never runs my Humira through my copay assist so I show a balance of some crazy amount like $800-$1000 until I call them and tell them to run it (why isn't this automatic!?) When express scripts sees I have a balance that high they won't fill my Lialda or birth control!!!!
I finally had enough and filed with the better business bureau. I'm going to file a complaint every where I can.
I kid you not...I got off the phone with them and took the biggest poo that was so soft it was almost D! They are making me sick!!

Ugh jugs typing this is pissing me off! Lol

My name is Janice Kay Logan. I have been fighting with Curascript/Accredo trying to get my Enbrel on time and at the correct temperature. If any one is willing to join a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against Curascript/Accredo please contact me at xxx@xxx and use CLASS ACTION in the subject line. Within the last 3 months I have dislocated my hip and broke my elbow due to the fact that the medicine was not the right potency because they have not cared for the drug properly. I know this because after 10 months of total pain, I received a replacement dose from AmGen (the makers of Enbrel) and within 12 hours after taking the dose I was no longer in any pain. Also during of being forced into using Curascript/Accredo, I have permanent joint destruction because of the condition of the Enbrel.

I have been told by Curascript/Accredo that they are sending out 10s of 1000s of monthly medications to Enbrel users. We have to stop this pharmacy. There is packaging available which will allow us to receive our medicine at the right temperature which is 34-46 degrees Fahrenheit.

IF YOU SEND ANY ENBREL BACK TO ACCREDO PLEASE WRITE ALL OVER THE BOX SO THEY CANNOT SEND IT TO ANOTHER PATIENT. THIS WEEK ALONE I HAVE RECEIVED TO BOXES OF MEDICINE WHICH HAD BEEN RETURNED.

I receive all my prescriptions from my local pharmacy, but my insurance requires I get my Humira from Accredo. I have had this insurance since July 1 so I have only received three refills but all three have been late. What is frustrating is I call them a week before the refill is due and they tell me everything is OK, then as said above they call a day or two before the expected delivery date, first time to say it was approved but then denied and 2X it's too soon. I hope they are not consistent, but I will not hold my breath.
