Allergies/Asthma, histamine reactions, have taken Ativan for anxiety, but now believe it was food related reactions and exposure to perfume & cleaners, smoke. UC has given me Anemia at times. so for an almost 62 yr. old woman, I am doing OK, asthma is well controlled with meds.

I have severe myopia too! I'm -9 ! Seriously I want lasik eye surgery, however the docs want my UC to be in remission for a year before. Blah

@fruitgirl- I have extreme myopia too. I'm -9 in both eyes. I have been stable since I was in my early 20's I'm 29 now. I want Lasik, however my doctors told me to wait for my UC to go into remission and see if my eyesight still remains at -9.

What's your corrective lens number?

I've been lucky. Just UC and Anxiety currently. But I am suspicious that I may be developing GERD or some other re-flux disease. My SLF (Special Lady Friend) has severe GERD and I see similarities.

I've had thyroid issues too...but hyper, not hypo. And it seems to come and go and doctor's never understood why. I'm guess it's somehow because of UC...

I also once had a weird/very scary bout of Vasculitis about 5 years before having any UC symptoms. Again, after a million tests, doctors couldn't say way, so I assume UC.

I'm celiac and hyperthyroid and I do think that for some of us these two are related somehow to colitis. There is some statistical support for this but no plausable links have been proposed.

Psoriasis - but I had that pre-UC and is controlled with my Remicade.
Raynauds - occasional usage of Norvasc
Peripheral arthritis - occasional usage of Celebrex
Sacroiilitis - no meds, I just deal with it
Osteoarthritis - just from old age lol
Megaloblastic anemia - B12 complex
Dry eye Syndrome - used to use Restasis but now it's controlled with my Remicade as well
Had Pityarasis Rosacea for almost a year - controlled with a strong corticosteroid
Rosacea - nothing used
Diverticular disease
IBS
Chronic UTI's - Macrobid when needed - also chronic idiopathic microhematuria
Acid reflux - Prilosec
SAD
GAD

I haven't had a problem with it in a while but I used to get a ton of sebaceous cysts and ovarian cysts as well as boils.

Whether or not these things are accociated with UC, I have no clue. But it might be a combination of UC and being on Remicade.
