hello all ,
I have a question . I was recently diagnosed with IBS because I went to my doctor and complained of daily stomach cramping etc .
and I have seen blood in my stool on 2 occasion in the past 2 years but haven't ever seen it again , a battery of blood tests were performed , cultures CT Tests the works , they took so much blood I got dizzy after . geezz
I was told that if I was fighting any type of infection or abnormality it would be seen and I came back fine across the board . when I asked the doctor about the blood I had seen he said it was from hemroids because they tested me for that also and found none .
yet the pain / cramps persist . bloating , gas etc etc .
and this is everyday that's why I went and complained in the first place . no matter what I eat its always with me in some form or another and I been feeling this for years and years but just recently went and complained about it , because it was getting aggravating
I have read aliitle about ulcers and stuff and I was wondering if its possible I have 1 ?
my family history was checked , no family members back 3 generations had any issues with any serious cancers etc except my grandmother brother was diagnosed with prostate cancer at age 72 that's it .
my complaints are .....
crampy / bubbly / gas / gnawing feeling left side and mid stomach , just below my chest bone
moves around always ends up in the lower left side of my stomach
after a rest room visit its all gone ,
then I hit the food again and here we go again .
however every once in a while I get a burning sensation mid stomach , I swallow an antacid and it goes away
so I was wondering could I have an ulcer ? or some type of colitis l am not trying to self diagnose here I was just wondering if this burning it get now and then in my mid section could be something like an ulcer .
however as I said complete blood screening showed normal across the board .
thanks .
