question on uceris or entocort

After researching these drugs I see that uceris is designed to release in the colon for more distal disease while entocort is designed to treat the right side. As my insurance does not cover any of the cost of these drugs and I would have to ask for the generic which is budesonide for both of these are there two different formulations of budesonide one for entocort and one for uceris. I mean how can they both have budesonide as the generic when they both work differently. I don't want to appear stupid but I don't get it.

I could not ask for the prescription assist card because my insurance (postal service) is a federal funded insurance and the uceris would cost $600.00 for a months supply but the budesonide would cost $10.00.

I would surely fork over the $600.00 for a months supply if that is all I needed if I were to even ask doctor for this in the future.

after more review I see there is no generic equivalent for uceris even though my insurance company lists budesonide as the generic for uceris it is the equivalent to entocort which is not for me as I have proctosigmoidtitis.

So does anyone know if uceris would be beneficial to try, I know the foam is scheduled for next year hope I can hold out, I am sure that will be expensive too.

Thanks dmacell that does help I have used the mesalamine enemas while rotating the cortisone enemas but I notice they seem to make me go more, or it could be just the inflammation I don't know. I have not problem with the canasa suppositories though they do not get high enough, I don't think.
