Prepped today, clear liquids all day followed by mag citrate and more fluids. I have a lot going in and I'm peeing like crazy but only a little grumbly in the belly and no "running clear".

I did have 2 BM this morning.

I hope I'm clear for tomorrow.

Should I do another mag citrate?

How long ago did you take it? Mag citrate takes some time to work, for me anyway. If you do have another, make sure to hydrate yourself appropriately.

I drank it about 4 hours ago. Chased it with about 16oz of Gatorade and have had 3 bottles of water, 2 cups of chicken broth and a cup of tea.

There's some bowel sounds and a little cramping going on. I hope I'm not up all night.

I have a wicked gag reflex and I know it was only a little bottle but I really struggled to get it down the first time. i cringe reading about the other preps, gallons of the stuff.

my prep was two mag citrate bottle about 6-8 hours apart - but the 1st one did produce lots of discharge after about 4 hours.

Mag citrate took at least 4 hours to work for me. I did a second bottle 8 hours after the first.

Well, I was going all night. Up until about a hour before scope.

Guess I was clean enough. They got some good pics. Unfortunately, I have progression to the transverse.

I have a follow up appt next week to get a better treatment plan in place.

And Propofol is great!
