Reaction to HUMIRA

I've been on Humira since May and recently I've been breaking out in sores that start out as water blisters and then become raw. I went to a dermatologist when they first started and he said I had an infection. He gave me an antibiotic med and some antibiotic cream and steroid cream. That set me into Cdiff which required a fecal transplant to get rid of it. Now, I've got the sores back and am going to a dr tomorrow. I can't take another antibiotic and risk cdiff again. I've tried the antibiotic cream and steroid cream and it doesn't seem to work. I've tried Neosporin, also an antiseptic spray and plain A&D ointment. Some lesions dry up and others break out.

I think it's my immune suppressant Humira that's allowing the infection to continue. Has anyone experienced this and what if anything finally got rid of the sores. I'm wondering if taking prednisone would work. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You should definetly premedicate if you haven't been.

I had the worst fungus skin infection that my skin Doc said the Humira was allowing it to continue.
I had been on Humira for 16 months wth no improvement in my U C.
I was taken off the Humira 2 months ago.
The fungal skin infection has about healed.

My GI doc put me back on Prednoisine and I start Entyvio infusions next week .
We hope this drg does the trick!
