On the topic of laziness:
A former therapist of mine does not believe in "being lazy"... and I'm inclined to agree since my experience would support her position.
She implied that laziness isn't an inherent human trait, but rather a side-effect of doing something that isn't our soul calling. It's really a fight between the inner spirit and society's pressures on us.
I think the old adage goes - find a job you like and you'll never have to work a day. Many of us are doing things that we don't want to do. It's understandable since people need to pay rent and support their families, but I feel it just increases stress levels.
At the end of the day, and after going through so much misery with the disease, I place strong importance on health over pretty much anything else. I know many cats who are doing it the other way and then paying the price later on, but it's just not worth it to me. Why make all that money only to spend it on medical bills later on?

Then again, the corporate culture in America lends itself to pretty bad health. It destroyed my health for sure. Sitting is being dubbed the new smoking these days.
That's my tangent lol. I'm
open to any counter arguments on this.
