In the early stages of needing Canasa, I would do one at night and one in the morning. After I noticed improvement, I would back off to just one at night. If you're just doing one, I'd go for the night because if you can get it in and then go to sleep, you're more likely to keep the medicine in longer. My doctor said the goal was at least 3 hours. That was hard for me to pull off in the morning if I was inflamed because I tend to have the most activity from, say, 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. I have no idea why. Also, be prepared that you will see the Canasa broken down when you go in the morning. It can look a bit like mucus.
That's great, I wasn't sure if I developed more mucus or if it was just the suppository. But if you're saying it's just left over suppository that makes me feel better
