Remission update: Remicade 13 months on!

Hi all,

I'm never on here anymore so I thought I'd post a quick update for anyone contemplating Infliximab/Remicade.

I am in remission for over one year now from Remicade after trying and failing every other treatment option for severe UC! Completely symptom free! No noticeable side-effects other than the odd cold and cuts or scrapes are slow to heal!

After three yrs of hell, I've forgotten what UC is like.. Hopefully it doesn't return any day soon!

Congrats! Great to hear. I'm only two loading doses in and really haven't seen any improvement yet. Do you remember when you really started seeing some results?

I'm trying to be patient and know it can take several treatments.
