I have been on several biologics this year, but because I hit my out of pocket max with insurance so early, I have not really had to pay for any of them. I just got off the phone with someone form Entyvio's patient assistance. The way I understood that the assistance works is that whatever money the patient assistance covers (say $5,000), that would be applied to my deductible? In essence, my insurance company would look at that as $5,000 out of my pocket and apply it to my yearly deductible? Am I understanding this correctly?
Thanks.
