Crawling sensation on head

I have "crawling" or "pulsing" sensation on my scalp and forehead. It is not at one place. I have been to many doctors, have tried OTC medicines and not yet know what it is. The blood work was done in early Dec (before symptoms) and came normal. Scalp from outside is normal. I am diagnosed with UC of whole colon with moderate colitis in May 2014. I take ASACOL HD 800mg 3 times a day and in remission since July 2014. My pulse rate is higher than normal since I started taking medicine. I am also diagnosed with Blepharitis (eye-lid inflammation) in Sept 2014. The head sensation started in Dec 2014. Does anyone else has this symptom or an idea what it could be? Thanks,

Hi, I have this.. not constant but it comes and goes. I find it very distracting and irritating. I cannot figure out what brings it one. I do know when it started I also started to have issues with my left eye muscles that they are still trying to figure out. The muscles that contract my pupil go into constant state of spasm pretty easily, that seems to correlate with when I take my Humira :(

If they figure it out let me know, no one has had a clue for me.

Mine is constant and gives me an headache at times. I wonder it is a very rare side effect of ASACOL. GI Dr says "no", but I had no health issues before UC diagnosis.

I get that when I take cold medicine so it can be caused by drugs.

Don't know what it is but I highly doubt that any doctor anywhere would be up to speed on the very rare side effects of any drug. If you ever take the time to read the pamphlet that comes with meds they list dozens of possible side effects.

I think it's really just the nerves...I get this on occasion too but it feels more like just nerve endings to me and I can directly relate mine to anything particular (like cold meds etc) mine usually happen (from what I notice) mostly when I'm getting close to falling asleep but it doesn't happen every time or all the time either. For me it's not bothersome, it's a little relaxing actually, definitely not painful for me.
