Oh no...how sad to hear. Even though you didn't know him well, you know it'll have an impact on your daughter/her husband. Not a good way to start the year.
Deepest condolences.
hugs,

OH..... wow, it's disconcerting to hear that an entire clinic can screw with the diagnostic process continually, but I know that a hospital can systematically ignore the needs of a patient and be shocked that she got worse and eventually died.
its good you have a doctor who has admitted nontreatment has caused things to worsen, andnshe believes it's treatable. I hope the options come quicker.than not.
Jurzi's doing well, but fussy with wet food. Her poos still could be less stinky, sheesh, and probiotics don't seem to make a huge improvement. She makes us laugh a lot, and shows a new part of her personality daily :) so it's heartlifting along with challenge.
When's your next gyne appt?

Also sorry to read that you got such sad news, Sherry. Those things can come "out-of-the-blue" so try to stay calm though it makes you wonder if more problems will crop up later. I hope 2015 will bring you good health and many happy events from now on. / Old Hat (34 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Quincy, I'll update you-- probably within the next 2 weeks. (Don't mean to hijack Judy's thread.) / Old Hat (34 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Sherry, I'm so sorry to hear that. Your daughter has had a bit of a rough road in the past, I hope things will be looking up for her now.
It must be the season for gyn problems. I'm going to be starting a second course of Flagyl next week, followed by the second course of Diflucan. The darn thing just won't go away!
