That was awesome guardian - Thanks for posting that :)
Yes I enjoyed it too.
I do think you cannot think about
all the details such as walking though you have to elevate and allow normal things to run automatically to operate on a higher level.
I think clearing thoughts and focusing on nothing but my breathing is good and stimulates the vegas nerve.
I need to know about
where to start working on meditation, I read about
its benefits but do not see any good primer on starting, repeat a word an relax is about
it.
Thanks1) I agree with Mindfulness in Plain English suggestion by Youngman. It is one of the best primers on meditation I have ever read. Covers almost everything. It's available for free
here.
2) The next would be anything by Jon Kabat Zinn - he has some
guided meditations that are therapeutic for pain and chronic illnesses.
3) There are some meditation programs that use audiotracks to stimulate certain brainwave frequencies - the
holosync program is the one I am doing currently. Basically, you listen to a track for 30 min a day, then you progress to 1 hour. After doing this for some amount of years, it apparently changes your brainwaves to match those of buddhist monks, though I don't make the same claims. I find it has helped me the most.
Best.
