Has anyone ever looked at the number of topics and posts for the other chronic illnesses on this website? Lol the UC forum has so many more posts than any other forum. Ya'll rock!

PS Sorry this has nothing to do with flares or meds or treatments, etc, but I just thought it was pretty cool

It really is. Btw I have noticed that as well but we are kind of an inside bunch most of the time, at least while we in the bathroom!

This is a great forum indeed. Especially, given the complex nature of this disease, where it affects people different ways, meds affect different ways, we have to learn from collective experience of this peer group and derive individual insight to have the right say on our medical treatment - rather than following doctor prescribed regimens blindly.

I too wonder about the volume of posts on uc. The cinic in me wonders: is uc just the biggest pain in the butt and frustrating disease to live with? Is uc's flare, remission, flare cycle enough to rank the posts up and keep us coming back? Do we just complain too much? Are the korean spammers just spiking our post count up lol? Are there just a ton of Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and other celebrity posts from a while ago :-)

Absolutely the most fabulous people on this board. They have gone through the bad times and good times with me, given me great advice, and lots of support. Even though I don't participate as much as I used to, I still read the forum daily, and appreciate each and every one of you.

It would be nice if a cure was found, and chronic disease forums were suddenly unnecessary :-)

lol, I bring my ipad to the toilet sometimes. I notice the anxiety forum and prostate cancer forums are growing really quickly too.

Connections are important. It's an awesome forum with mostly committed members....sucks when it strays on occasion and the weird post/seemingly programed posts come into play.
