Doc said 3, 2 in morn and one night. Does that sound right when flaring?

I was taking 4 while flaring. 4 in the AM. I took 2 when in remission. I used to take 3600mg of asacol throughout the day and that worked well for me too but now my UC is resistant to mesalamine it seems.

4 lialda tabs is the normal dosage, a total of 4.8grams of meslamine a day.

Plenty of people are prescribed only 2 Lialda per day (esp. while in remission), while max dosage is 4 per day.

It's foolish not to take 4 while flaring.

4 when flaring and 2 when in remission. The usual dose for mesalamine during a flare is 4.8 g.

I take 4...2 in the morning, 2 at night. That's how my doc prescribed it...while flaring
