I got diagnosed with IBS C 4 years ago. My very first symptom was 3 days of D which then turned to C. Very mild symptoms. Managed very well. Usually just bloating, nausea and gas unless I ate foods that really affect it in which case I'd get D, and pain in my bottom left, bottom right, and sometimes upper left side, but would eventually go back to C after a week or so.
Anyways I had a really stressful summer and fall and symptoms took a turn for the worse 2 months ago. All of the sudden craps and pain were much worse. I'd get a little more D, but also go back to C for a long time. I had a 1-2 stools that had a streak of blood on the outside, bright red, but I figured it was a small hemorrhoid or cut from such bad C and D, but that was a month ago and hasn't happened since. The biggest change in symptoms really as just my cramps seem much worse, and sometimes the pain in my lower left seems much worse. Haven't had any unusual weight loss, and I'm even dieting at the moment. My stools will sometimes come out constipated, and sometimes come out loose. Mostly I just get mucus, but now lately I've noticed little white chunks in them. The size of half a peanut. This happens every so often. I don't get any urgency to go in the middle of the night and like I said the blood hasn't happened since, and the funny thing is when the blood did occur it was on what appeared to be very firm stools. I do notice I get some pretty bad nausea at times which usually goes away once I pass stools. My symptoms have me at a loss. Friday i was in bad pain that passed after passing stools, but then Saturday, and sunday I was 100% fine all day even though I passed stools again.
