Hi
For 3-4 weeks now, I am struggling to pass anything in the mornings. I am not eating much either to be fair, but still think I'm constipated/or have inflammation in my rectum.
This co-incideded with my GI prescribing me prednisolone retention enemas. I genuinly think they have made me worse. I pass a little bit of liquid/mucus throughout the day, but am hoping I'm not bunged up with a lot of solid stool waste....
Sometimes I pass very thin - 3cm ish stools, they look like little worms. This gives me an indication that I have inflammation and the opening is very small. I have tried really upping the amount of water/fibre and am using lepicol (psyillium husk) which didn't do anything. I am also passing a lot of wind which I don't normally do.
I have also recently started oral prednisolone having finished my course of enemas.
Is there anything I can do or try, I'm seeing my GI tuesday, is there another enema which is good for this problem?
I'm also on 100mg imuran, 1g sulfasalazine.
Thanks
