Antibodies can make remicade less effective in small concentrations (solution, increase remicade dose to counteract antibodies). In large concentrations, antibodies make remicade stop working (solution, humira or simponi must be tried). Generally, immunosuppressive medications (6mp, aza, or Imuran) are taken concurrently to make that antibody buildup a lot less likely to occur.
Meslamine-based medications, like lialda, are very weak when compared to remicade. So, usually, meslamines are discontinued once remicade has healed you. Can meslamine only work in the event you have remi antibodies, no, highly unlikely.
