If he was heavily leaning toward remicade then your results must've been really bad from your last colonoscopy. I had severe inflammation which got me on remicade...

Enemas might be fine if you had limited inflammation in the rectum and sigmoid colon only. However, if you have severe inflammation throughout your large intestine then forget about rowasa, it doesn't go that far.

It'd be helpful to know more. Call your gastroenterologist and ask.

Most health records cannot be emailed, due to privacy issues. You can have the doctors office snail mail your report. Or you could pick up a copy in person, if the doctors office is close to your home. Your health records are yours and you should be able to view them when you ask.

If you're expected to make a major change in your medication treatment, it would be nice to have enough information to make informed decision.

So I got the blood test results back from the last GI and everything came back normal.... I was particularly interested in the Celiac Disease, which was negative and the inflammation marker, which was 1.8 - they said anything between 0 & 5 is normal. What does that test even mean? Why am I coming up normal but I am having diarrhea every day? So annoying.

I don't have the test results in front of me (they are mailing it) but I believe she said it he C Reactive Protein was the test that was the inflammation marker.

Hemoglobin normal, white blood cell count normal, metabolic panel normal, possible anemic but red blood cell count was good so Im probably OK....

The Celiac test only indicates that you don't have Celiac, you are not gluten intolerant, you don't have Celiac disease. There are many on this forum who tested negative for Celiac but found out that they are gluten sensitive. The only way to test for that is to avoid gluten for a couple of weeks to see if your symptoms lessen.
