I have anbesol in my medicine cabinet, for short-term pain relief. See a dentist, if it doesn't go away.

You should make a dentist appt if you haven't already. But Tylonel is safe to take for UC'ers tho to be honest, it never really helped me with tooth pain. Once I took care of why it was hurting me, things got better.

I had a terrible tooth ache and ended up getting a root canal this week. I was given tylenol w/ codeine. I don't think it has really helped that much. I did cave and take ibuprofen (which is dumb b/c I'm flaring).

I don't like to take NSAIDs so I would go to the dentist and see if they would call me in something else. I take tylenol/tramadol for pain usually.

Got appointment tomorrow, was checking some medicines before posting this. Really on lots of them it is written be careful if you have IBD.
Was taking paracetamol last two days.

My dentist always gave me something with codeine in it if the tooth was hurting really bad. I'm a baby when it comes to pain. Plain ole tylenol does nothing for me.
