I have also been drinking the Nopal (aka Prickly Pear) water for about
1 week. I add chia to mine, as was suggested in another original thread. I experienced some gas during days 3-5, but that seems to have passed (for lack of a better phrase. HA!). My bm's are excitingly normal/solid and only 1-2x/day. No diarrhea and no cramping. The only possible lingering SE I'm still experiencing is a feeling of bloatedness. Please note I'm also drinking copious amounts of turmeric and chamomile tea, so maybe I'm just drinking too much! For something so easy to prepare and at such minimal expense, I'm ecstatic that these seem to be reducing, if not eliminating, my UC symptoms.
