Imuran side effects

Just started Imuran not liking the side effects. I have a friend who takes methotrexate & has no side effects. Thinking about asking my Dr to switch me to Methotrexate. Thoughts/advice on this?

What side effects are you encountering? I've heard Methotrexate is far worse...

If it is nausea you are experiencing then that tends to usually subside within a few months. Give it some time and if your blood work stays where it should and you don't have to come off of it, then this drug can really be beneficial to you.

Tno side effects, just tired. I get blood work soon and I fear it's nit gonna be good! I don't want to go off it! Try halving your dose and take it morning and night.
