Gas meds??

I'm currently in a slight flare but it's the gas pain that's literally killing me!! I've tried every over the counter gas meds there are, is there a prescription that helps with gas??
I'm currently take lialda, Canasa, and librax.
Anyone have any gas relief trick or remedies??

The librax could be making it worse
But it really helps with the spasms and pain associated with that
Talk to your GI and see if that's the problem
It's possible there are other similar drugs that won't cause bloating

Diet. Look carefully at your diet. I fart a lot when my diet slips.

..or peppermint oil. Peppermint oil worked great for me in reducing gas.

Dikid what is something similar to librax that wouldn't cause gas?

librax doesnt cause gas it just can slow things down and may (or may not) make gas pains worse
im not sure- it was prescribed to me by my previous GI and he prescribed some other meds that were bad for UC
i think any antispasmodic or muscle relaxant should be similar but ask your GI
