You know certain foods are more likely to cause gas, right? All starches, with the exception of rice, can cause gas, and the more you eat of it, the more gas. I can have an English muffin without a problem but if I have a good helping of spaghetti I'll be in misery all night! Here are other foods that can be problematic that came up when I googled gas:
•Beans
•Broccoli
•Brussels sprouts
•Cabbage
•Carbonated drinks
•Cauliflower
•Chewing gum
•Fruits, such as apples, peaches and pears
•Hard candy
•Lettuce
•Milk and milk products
•Onions
•Sugar alcohols found in sugar-free foods (sorbitol, mannitol and xylitol)
•Whole-grain foods
I eat from this list all week long, lol. I started Ultra Strength Simethicone early on and find great relief with it. I don't wait for the problem to present, I take 2 every morning regardless, maybe 2 in the afternoon.
This and Omeprozole every morning or I pay the price.
