Ugh , still bleeding on entyvio 5 infusions so far

My urgency has been better but the bleeding is still there :( just thought I would be further along. Just venting.

I just gave up on Entyvio after 6 months and got my first Remicade infusion. I had high hopes for Entyvio and saw no benefit. Flaring worse 6 months in than when I started.

GRRRRRR, that sucks for sure, hand in there, it's so individual so give it a bit more time then see what the next option is for ya.

It did nothing for me either sadly. I hope you start to see some improvement.

Did any of you experience any nasty side effects from entyvio? I'm starting it in a few weeks and after a couple of years taking mesalamine while I was intolerant, I'm concerned about it.

I just had my fourth dose on Wednesday. I started feeling dizzy and nauseated that night. By Thursday night I was vomiting with severe leg pain. So bad that I just laid in bed and cried until I fell asleep. Today I seem to be back to normal.. The first three loading doses I was fine with maybe a slight headache. Not sure what changed. Other than that I it's helping. Formed stools, no pain, no urgency.

It is a slow mover...we only made it till week 10, then had surgery. Some make slow and steady progress, so hang in there. Our doc said that if we had no progress by week 10, then it probably wasn't going to magically kick in. Are you on anything else to bridge the time?
Side note to L Rachael; no side effects for my daughter. Easy infusion too. Perhaps a bit tired.
