Did it go away? That is exactly how I feel - like my heart is beating harder and my lungs are just not working like they used to. It just feels like I will never be able to exercise again. And that constant dizzy feeling makes me feel like I am about to faint. In the last letter I got from my GI, it did say I was also suffering from "malnutrition" along with the anemia. I hate to blame the remicade when it could be the disease. Just so impatient to start feeling like my old self. :(
I did call my GI but of course, no response back so I guess it is not a big cause for concern.
I kept asking doctors (primary care, GI) about
the heart rate if I remember correctly -- and nobody worried about
it. I did have an x-ray of my chest done after the breathing issue I believe (which was around 6 months after beginning treatment). It was clear (okay) for whatever they were looking for.
The breathing issue... was not 100% of the time, and yes, it seemed to go away some. At the time I noticed it more I was on Remicade AND Imuran. I stopped Imuran fearing I was on too many immune reducers (was feeling sick a lot). I stopped that about
the same time I got the x-ray of the chest and such. I don't remember serious issues or noticing much breathing wise after that fall... and was on Remi for 2+ years after that. The heart rate though, that lasted until I was off of Remicade. Sometimes it would be a bit lower like it used to be, but not consistently.
