Clear pill cam and colonoscopy?

I was diagnosed with UC the beginning of the year and was still not feeling great after a prednisone taper so dr did colonoscopy before wanting to start remicade infusions. Colonoscopy came back good so he ordered CT enterography. CT came back with inflammation near my jejunum. Dr then wanted to do an EGD with pill cam to get a better look. That all came back good, no ulcerations or inflammation. I'm kind of at a loss now what to do. I feel decent but not 100%. Still having some D, urgency, mucus in stools, and occasionally blood when I wipe. I've been going through all these tests etc for almost a year so I don't know if I should just try and move on and cope with my new "normal" or what... Any advice? Has this happened to any of you?

Well, Apriso will not treat your jejunum, so untreated inflammation there could certainly cause your symptoms. Yours is an interesting case how inflammation is there and then it isn't. It's unusual to have so many tests contradict each other.

Any chance there could be some pathogenic cause like cdiff, have a stool test done?

IBS can cause either diarrhea or constipation, so that is another possibility.

Would a upper endoscope produce better results than a pill cam?

If you wanted to do more testing, then I'd go to one of the top clinics for gastrointestinal issues, such as the mayo clinic. As they are more likely to think outside the box, than your local gastroenterologist might...

I've had multiple stool samples done and no infection, etc. I'm definitely confused! I started doing gluten and dairy free just in the last few days to see if that helps. I'm not sure how long it'll take but I already basically feel the same.
