Here's what I've found out about
95% curcumin after trying several brands and reading a post from Old Mike:
It's best to take it in powder form (not capsule or pill) mixed with oil, about
1/4 tsp (about
1500 mg) 95% curcumin powder with just enough coconut oil to blend. Then you can mix it with whatever you want but I just take it straight because there is no taste to curcumin, just the coconut oil taste.
I had been taking 3g of capsules but in reading learned that it was likely not bio-availoable because it is not water soluble. So it was a waste of the capsules.
I've also tried the type with pepper (bio-piperine) and that gave me IBS. Also tried Jarrow brand where the capsules are oil and yes IBS again.
My gut only wants pure 95% curcumin, nothing else and it's cheaper per dose. But it can stain clothes so be careful not to sneeze when dispensing
