I was just curious as to what you guys eat for nut/seed butters that are easy on the gut? I was eating cashew butter for a while, but I became allergic and was told to switch to sesame seed butter. I know theres a bunch of other types of butters out there, just curious as to what else I can try that is okay? I know everyone's different but I was hoping to hear what you guys had to say. I'd like to stick with sesame seed butter, but if I can rotate it with a different kind every couple days that would be great!
Thanks

I like unsweetened sunflower seed butter when flaring. When not flaring I am fine with almond butter. For a treat I love Justin's chocolate hazelnut butter. I also eat peanut butter from time to time, but it isn't always friendly to my gut.

Are you asking in perspective of a certain diet? Sunflower seed butter is awesome and so is almond butter. Peanut butter gives me issues because peanuts are not really nuts but legumes. I have no nut allergy (yet).

I eat natural peanut butter like crazy. I make sure the ingredients are only peanuts and salt. For me, the brands that have more oil separation are easier on my gut...smucker's for example. I'm not sure why that is.

Thanks everyone :) I'll grab some peanut butter and almond butter this weekend! I picked up some pumpkin seed butter the other day. Anyone try that one?

i can eat any nut butter except for cashew butter. it always gives me diarrhea because it's a high allergen nut. i just started eating peanut butter again and now i'm obsessed.
pumpkin seed butter is a more savory nut butter but it is high in iron. not one of my favorites taste wise.
my favorite is pecan butter but its so expensive so i dont eat it too often. it is just divine.
i think i've tried and made every nut butter there is at this point!! the most PITA one to make is sunflower seed butter. it tastes forever to get the oils to release. i think it took me 40 minutes to make it last time so now i just buy it.
