Anyone felt awful even though inflammation is better?

Finally met with my GI about the results of my colonoscopy and endescopy and he said that I have no inflammation. It's way better than when I had a colonoscopy in March and was first diagnosed with UC. But I don't feel better. He was talking about moving on to IV meds and wanted to do the scopes first. Now he is speculating it could be IBS or a tumor. Obviously not happy about waiting weeks for tests results to come back regarding a tumor. Also stressed that my symptoms don't seem to be related to the UC and he is just speculating about what it could be. I just want to get better and have my life back. Anyone have the tests results show they're better but not feel better?

I have constant abdominal pain that can go from about a 4-8 in pain. BMs are between 4-6/day, never with blood, previously with mucus but that's gone now.

Yes, I get scoped once a year. The last time by doc said he saw much less inflammation than the year before, even though I was experiencing more symptoms. It's not a one to one relationship.
