Liquid magnesium citrate

The brand Natural Vitality makes a product called Natural Calm, it's a powder magnesium citrate. I think it comes in flavors and unflavored.

Is that possible, to go in for a colonoscopy and use magnesium citrate instead of the preparations? I would much prefer to do that in the future as well.

i used the natural calm magnesium powder for my prep last time. i used orange flavor and raspberry lemon flavor for some variety. i never wanna drink it again.

i wasn't totally sure how much to use for the scope but i ended up using 12 TBSP of the powder and also approximately 6 packets of electrolyte powder so i wouldn't fall over. i was SUPER CLEAN for my scope.

I don't know if the lemon flavor made me worse, I was flaring already and had more bleeding after my scope, but my doc took a ton of biopsies, so I was told to expect the bleeding to be worse for a day or so.
