What is it with people shoving things up their butt's? My step mom always tells me the story of the neighbour that shyly asked her to drive him to the hospital for an 'emergency'. He was in a lot of pain. Turns out he stuck a very large carrot up his butt and couldn't get it back out, haha. My mom is like, 'I pity the people who go over for carrots and peas with Sunday dinner at his house! Imagine having to face your neighbour after something like that.

This article is dated April Fool's Day. And reading it made no sense when the GI doing the c-scope found his own daughter's I-phone in an unrelated patient?

But perhaps those who live in the northeast remember the story 25+ years ago about the male newsman who had to go to the ER with a hamster in his rectum. True story but I won't describe the rest of it and why it was there.

I'm not surprised as there's tons of weird things happening daily. I get great amusement in reading odd news articles daily, a good example is reddit's "sadly this is not the onion" (the onion is a satire website) /www.reddit.com/r/nottheonion/ which includes bizarre articles from local news papers all over.

There's been a few articles like that. I remember reading once about a nude guy getting arrested in a park, police asked "if he had any concealed weapons" and surprisingly he answered yes, a screwdriver, and you can guess where it was hidden... Lol.

Haha, I didn't even notice the date! I was to busy trying to figure out how she would even get a cell phone in there. I was reading a link from Old Mike and noticed the story off to the side. To funny.

Interestingly, this morning, I ran into my neighbour who works as an emergency surgery nurse. I said to her "You wouldn't believe the story I read last night and described it to her"... she says, "That doesn't surprise me at all. At least once a month we pull something out of a persons butt, and we have a box at the hospital where we keep it all. She said they call it the Butt box and take bets on what will be next as an emergency room pool" - how crazy is that??

My niece is a PA in the ER of a very busy hospital. Oh boy, the stories she has told me about where (and what) people stick things in themselves. There are some sick individuals in this world!

With all the massive inflammation, blood, pain and mucus I've had over 10 years I gotta be honest - In some really weird and strange way I am envious they even have the desire to stick something up there lol...

Though I guess for me the last 2 years has been pretty darn good. But still..
