I havent had blood in my stool for a month and today i notice a tiny bit of blood with my first poo. Am i flaring again?! Ugh

what are your symptoms otherwise....blood isn't the only indicator of a flare.

Any blood on the tp? and could it have been a bit of food or the casing of an asacol/Lialda/salofalk?

What meds are you on, how often, etc?

Im taking 2x 1000mg salofalk granuls and i dont have any other specific symptoms except that I sometimes have diarrhea.

What's your original diagnosis for UC...meaning where is it located (throughout or limited to where?)

Oh I have no idea, I have to ask my dad all I know is its 45cm

I wouldn't worry about a single episode of a little bit of blood. A flare is a persistent worsening of symptoms. It's usually a combination of symptoms: blood + increased urgency + diarrhea.

45 cms is ulcerative proctosigmoiditis. Inflammation present in rectum + sigmoid colon.

No blood today, I had a normal poo in the morning in the afternoon I had diarrhea? It happens 2-3 times a week, why?
