Hello all,

I would like to hear stories from mommies that have been on both imuran and salofalk (mesalamine) during the entire pregnancy? And is the combination of both meds fine during pregnancy? I am very worried and concerned about the effects that both meds can have on the fetus .. I have thought of going off the imuran but I am worried about getting into a flare ! Any advice??

My third child (who is now 12) was an Imuran baby so to speak. No negative impact ... Bright, healthy and stroppy as any her age! Not sure is relevant as didn't do both drugs ...

Duffle; I am more concerned and worried about the imuran than mesalamine because i got different opinions from different doctors about it so i thought it is good to hear from mommies who have been on it during pregnancy .. Do u remember the dosage u were on?

Yep ... 150mg ... Always had same dose. Weight fluctuates but always between 2.7/3 ratio to weight (so slightly above recommended ratios for IBD).
