I've been to the toilet twice today and it's only 3pm 😭 My stools are solid no dirrahea but tiny amounts of mucus. My doctor is on a vacation what do I do?

Sorry to hear things are getting worse for you Nadica. Most gastroenterologist offices have an on-call doctor. Call their office and leave a message and who ever is on call, should get back to you fairly quickly.

It doesn't sound like your symptoms are extremely bad at the moment, but it's good to get a prescription dose increase due to your worsened symptoms. You know what I'm going to say, ask for a dise increase to 3.0 grams daily salofalk granules and also ask for either a salofolk suppository or enema.

It's good to catch it early before the flare gets much worse.

You've been flaring since the beginning of this month....are you not on any rectal meds?

Absolutely not my doctor said it's all good even tho I said I still see some blood and mucus in my stool. Now he's on a vacation and I don't know any other doctors since my country is very small and is behind stuff. I'll probably die if I continue going to this doctor I swear

And nobody understands my mum is like don't worry it will go away soon. No it does not go away like that trust me. My friend just told me "just take an aspirin or something" yup that's the solution thanks.

Yeah, you were flaring and still are. Can you go to a hospital?
What country, nadica?
It'd difficult when others don't get it. When will your doc be back?

Macedonia it's a country next to Greece. I'll go to the hospital tomorrow gonna see an internist since there are no gastro doctors in my town. I hate this.

Hopefully, you will get relief...id suggest you ask for mesalamine enemas,or at the very least for mesalamine suppositories.

Persistent is key. It really shouldn't be that hard though, how very frustrating. As Quincy and I are talking about is standard medical treatment for uc.
