Currently waiting for my GI to get back to me. But are fluffy loose stools consistent with a flare for anyone?

Possibly. Have you gone from constipation phase? Any food changes? Fruit, fibre supps? Faster moving digestive tract can cause fluffy stool. Are you having lots of gas as well as mucus?j
How many times a day are you going?

Usually around 4 on average sometimes more sometimes less. I started the paleo autoimmune protocol diet but been having the fluffy stools well before that. They are somewhat formed but always loose if that makes sense

Are you on any probiotics or fibre supplements?

Yes, fluffy stools, 4 times a day is suggestive of mild uc inflammation.

It's a good point that our bms normally have variation, sometimes more formed than other times. A consistent, change to less formed stool is a sign of concern of trouble brewing from uc symptom-creep.

Yes. Fizzy or fuzzy stools on the other hand are just plain cute.
