Now I'm the confused one. That's really all you've had, a flex sig? No colonoscopy, MRI/CT scan, etc.? In that case, I don't see how the hell they can say enemas won't reach your area of disease. A flex sig only goes up the left side of the colon - it can't go any further! Anyway, yes, enemas will treat as far as a flex sig goes, but not suppositories - the latter treat the rectum only.
I recommend chasing this one up and getting a more definite answer out of your pissy IBD nurse.
