I know some people on here are going to do this soon. I saw a subject line earlier concerning HBOT with Entyvio. Does anyone have any success with this by itself? I've started treatment at 2.0 ATA with 100% O2 in a Perry chamber. This is true HBOT they use for diabetic woundcare, blunt trauma, etc. I've read many reports from NIH, the Mayo Clinic, etc showing 100% effectiveness in UC and 86% clinical remission after up to 20 dives. Granted insurance won't cover this, even though Aetna says they know it could work but there's not enough double blind placebo clinical trials to show actual effectiveness. This blows my mind. If say $8,000 is what it costs for 20 dives how could they not want to try that instead having some of us on a biological drug forever! It's insane to me. Anyway, that's my rant for today! I haven't posted on here since 2013 but it's a wonderful place to get encouragement and new ideas.

Because insurance does not pay for experimental. One day it should be covered if the data supports it.

Also, this only promotes healing. I see no reports it cures the underlying autoimmune condition.

The inflammation is the underlying cause of UC. The epithelium barrier in our colon has become compromised and therefore the auto immune response is the inflammation. All anti-TNF medication does is block the TNF-A from entering the colon, therefore, causing our immune system to calm down. It's not like our immune system decided to kick our colons out, something happened to enter the blood barrier from our colon. Read the Briggs protocol and I think you'll better understand how this happens.
