Thanks zengrrl, yeah I think we talked about
parrotletts once before. Parrotletts (or pocket parrots) have all of the character of a big parrot in a more manageable funsize, so there's less of a mess to cleanup after. He's a little 38 gram ball of color and feathers who's about
4.5 inches long. So, they're much easier to handle than big parrots are (in his case pick himup in two cupped hands) and put him back in his cage when he unexpectedly gets belligerent (parrots aren't really domesticated, so can get randomly mean and act like winged devils throwing tantrums and biting). Most of the time, they're funny little acrobats climbing and flying, who are very clingy, and want to be the center of your attention all of the time.
There's a YouTube channel, called Peekaboo Parrots, with lots of videos of parrotletts doing they're usual antics, One of her parrotletts, Koolaid, is an exceptional talker. Here's a link to one of them:
