I've been trying to figure out what is wrong with me. In the morning I go to the bathrooms once soft but normal and for the remainder of the day I'll be going red mucus until the next morning. Also lately if I feel gassy and I wipe after it'll be bright red blood. Does anyone know what area is inflamed. Trying to pin point it or atleast get a general idea!

I'm also on Entyvio. Had 2 infusions so far and have seen nothing. Remicade didn't work for me.

i would think it's a little early to notice a significant change - is there a reason you're not currently using rectal meds ?

Sounds like typical ulcerative colitis flare symptoms. How many total bms do you have, and is there any urgency?

Not really any urgency. Sometimes I feel like I have to go but it's really only has pains or mucus. I prob visit the bathroom 5-10 times a day but only actually go 3-4 times.

I think it's left side about 7 inches up

How far did you ulcerative colitis extend: rectum only (proctitis), rectum + sigmoid (proctisigmoiditis), or entire large intestine (pancolitis)? Generally, when we flare all of the areas active in prior flares become active again (sometimes less).

Generally speaking rectal inflammation is always active during flares. It's likely where your bloody mucus originates from (especially if it is a light, bright, red).
