L'Shana Tova to you too U B. My family is a real mixed bag of religions, Cathloic, Jewish and Armenien Orthodox. I was raised Catholic, even went to an all girls Catholic high school but I was a baaaaad girl, always in trouble, just like the Billy Joel song " Only the good die young" 😏

Np, you're going through a really tough time, vent anytime. It sucks with all the medical crap we go through, especially your current situation. You'll get through though, get back in school, doing ballet and other fun stuff. This blasted disease does not define us.

Veruca---Oh my! so similar to my upbringing!! Went to Catholic school until High School. But there was a melange of same religions/traditions too, including Armenian Orthodox.

I honestly don't know that this will get better. Every week there's something else. I don't feel like me especially with what's going on with my lady bits...I only leave the house for health related things. i understand what you mean about this disease doesn't define us....but sadly I have no other identity than a disabled "woman". Am I even that anymore?

You'll get better, you will. Hopefully, your Humira will kick in soon and things will improve. Keep after your doctors, don't let them off the hook.

I'm wondering if you have some resource, an advocate to come with you to dr appointments. It's harder for doctors to blow you off when someone else is there helping you. I don't know anything about the Canadian healthcare system but my friend in New Orleans did this when she was having a hard time getting doctors to listen to her during her chemo treatment for breast cancer.

I know it's hard right now but don't give up, you will get better.

I have 3 cats, so I'm definitely crazy cat lady for sure. They all need to get jobs, they laze around doing nothing all day. 😄

Love of my life is my 10 yr old blond cocker spaniel Roxie. She head-butts the bathroom door open & lies down at my feet to keep me company:).

Cats are just cats but dogs are humans (this better part of humans of course). I love animals (I'm an animal rights activist :)
