Anyone else have possible Agent Orange Exposure/Parents.

Yea, I know many here were not even born yet,but were your parents exposed.
Just thought I would check if any old timers were exposed.
Seems the govt has admitted they used in Korea on the DMZ while I was there.
Was there in 1971, which counts for exposure, and up/in the DMZ more than once.
Of course checking diseases covered by exposure, IBD is not one of them.
Of course most of the exposure was in Vietnam.
But just wondering anyhow.

My dad was in Vietnam and he thinks my UC and my brothers AS has to do with his exposure to Agent Orange, like it messed with his chromosomes and he passed the default on to us. (We have no family history of autoimmune diseases.) Prior to Vietnam my dad had no health issues but after coming back, he had/still has debilitating allergies (his skin literally blisters and peel's off of his hands if he touches things he is allergic to, which is just about everything). And severe PTSD too.

My family has no history of autoimmune diseases either.

My dad handed me a paper he got from one of his Vet groups about this.

It did not mention UC though, only Crohn's. I dismissed the paper because I don't have Crohn's, however now I may start looking into it.
