Random bleeding while on Remicade

Hi all!

It's been awhile for me! I hope that everyone is doing well. I've been busy with baby who is almost 6 months old now!

I'm back with a quickie question. I'm on Remicade now...have been for a few months. I am still experiencing some occasional random bright red blood with bms. Like dripping and/or on tp. I'll have it for a few days and then it goes away. No mucus or any of my other normal signs of flaring. It usually happens a few weeks after I get my Remicade.

Does this sound like a flare? Maybe I need to ask for the Remicade to be given more frequently?

Have you had a infliximab serum trough and antibodies test 48 hours or less from your next infusion? It makes sure your minimum concentration of remix remicade isn't too low. Prometheus labs and lab corps do that blood test.

Could be hemerroids as well.

And today I noticed a little bit of that tell tale mucus. Pooptastic!
